Using SwiftCD service in Shareware Assistant.
SwiftCD is a custom CD duplication service provider. By using its services, you may offer your software in CD-ROM to your customers. Shareware Assistant(SWA) has integrated with SwiftCD service, and you may submit a SwiftCD order directly in SWA.
To using SwiftCD service in SWA, follow the steps:
STEP1: Set the SwiftCD account information.
STEP2: Define the CD information of products.
STEP3: Create and submit a SwiftCD order.
STEP1: Set the SwiftCD account information.
Open the Options dialog and select the SwiftCD page. SWA has set the default URL for submitting SwiftCD orders, and do NOT change it if you are not sure about it. You need enter the UserID and Password of your SwiftCD account. We suggest you set the contact email and select the default shipping method. These two fields is used to create a CD order.

STEP2: Define the CD information of products.
Before this step, you need create a CD product on Swiftcd.com. You may login SwiftCD and define the Label, Package, and Product. Then remember the LabelID, PackageID and ProductID which is used in SWA.
In SWA, open the product manager and select the product you want to set. Then open the Product Properties dialog and select the SwiftCD page.

Set the right value of these fields, and these fields will be used when create a CD order. There are two kind of orders: CD and Fulfillment.
For CD order, you need set following fields:
| Product ID |
ProductId (PID) identifying product to SwiftCD. |
| Label ID |
Label Id for this CD as previously defined in the SwiftCD Vendor Area - Design CDs. |
| Package ID |
Package Id for this CD as previously defined in the SwiftCD Vendor Area - Design CDs. |
| Product Title |
Title of product. If you have chosen this option in your label configuration, this text will be written on the CD at the time of production. |
| Reg Key Title |
Line 1 of the registration label. Example: Unlock Code (maximum 60 characters per line). |
| Reg File Name |
Software registration file, written to root of CD unless a different path is specified. Example: SN.txt. |
| File Content |
Text content of registration file, may include line feeds. Here you may use variables like RegName and RegCode. When create a CD order, SWA will replace the variables with the real value of the order. The variables can be used are: [OrderID],
[Name],
[RegName], [RegCode],
[ProductName],
[Version],
[Quantity].

For Fulfillment order, you just need set the Product ID and Product Title. To know more information about fulfillment order, please view http://www.swiftcd.com/faq/fulfillment.html.
STEP3: Create and submit a SwiftCD order.
Now you can create a SwiftCD order. First, select the order in grid on the main window, and click the menu "Tools->SwiftCD Submitter" or the CD button on the toolbar. It will display the SwiftCD order dialog.
SWA will automatically copy the data from the original order to the CD order, like First Name, Last Name, Email and address data, and use the settings in STEP 1&2 to generate the other data. You may edit the order as you wish. When the order is ready, click the Submit button, then SWA will generate a order in XML format and submit it to SwiftCD. If you want to save the order and submit it later, click the Save button.
After submitted the CD order, you may view it in the order information.
Click the View button to see the details of the CD order .
In this dialog, you may New, Delete a CD orders. If the current order is not submitted or failed, you may submit it again by click the Submit button. |
